The Path You’re Making

When life gives you the bitter seed,
Instead of the flower you think you need,
It feels like a test, heavy and long,
To see if your heart can still stay strong.
No good news comes, the sky stays gray,
You wonder why you try anyway.
You blame yourself for the storms you face,
And look at the past like a lost race.
But listen close: this isn’t your fault.
Not every lock is inside your vault.
Sometimes the world is just hard and cold,
But you have a story yet to be told.
The waves may crash and pull at your feet,
But soon the water will turn still and sweet.
If you feel lost, or stuck in the dark,
It’s just the human in you—that spark.

Don’t give up now, don’t walk away,
You’ve been your own hero every single day.
Through every fire and every cold rain,
You are the one who bore all the pain.
So be kind to your heart, give it some grace,
One day you’ll look back at this time and place.
You’ll see the “you” who felt tired and small,
Was actually the strongest one of them all.

You’re going to be okay, it’s true—
Not because the world changed for you,
But because you are the steady form,
That stands much taller than any storm.
