Online love is fast, and marriages break up quick,
But hidden care can still do the trick.
Seems not a close friend, yet someone dearly around,
A quiet presence, without a sound.
They watch and care, though you might not know,
Small kindnesses, a gentle glow.
They feel like yours, though no words are said,
Unasked affection, in their heart, instead.
They might act cool, maybe even cold,
But secretly, a story’s to be told.
A silent want, a pull you can’t quite place,
Do such souls still exist in this fast pace?
Maybe somewhere, someone cares unseen,
A mystery shadow, a puzzle keen.
Close by, yet far, a hidden, gentle hand,
We wish to know them, in this busy land.
Someday they’ll show, their quiet care will bloom,
We’ll try to reach them, break through their silent room.
Will they hear our call, our wish to connect?
Will they find courage, all pretense reject?
To care out loud, for everyone to view,
To show their feelings, honest and true.
Will they ever dare, their hidden hearts impart?
Will they step from shadows and become a real part?
