The feeling of the first rain …..

Man, it felt like the sun had been parked right on top of us for weeks. Everything was just brown and crispy, you know? Like the world forgot how to rain. Then, bam! Out of nowhere, the sky went all dramatic – dark clouds rolling in, blocking out the sun. It felt like a movie scene, right before the hero shows up.

The first drops were like tiny little scouts, checking things out. Tap, tap, tap on the window. Then, the whole thing just exploded. Rain hammering on the roof, wind whipping the trees around like crazy. It was loud, yeah, but kind of awesome too, like a giant car wash for the whole world.

Of course, some people love to get cozy when it rains first. Mug of hot chocolate, a good book, that kind of thing. The sound of the rain becomes like a white noise machine, drowning out all the stress. I get that, totally. But for me, the best part is when the rain chills out a bit. You step outside and it’s like everything’s brand new. The air smells amazing, like wet dirt and something magical. Leaves are dripping diamonds, and there are these perfect puddles everywhere, just begging to be splashed in.

The first rain is like a giant reset button, you know? Washes away the old stuff and makes way for something fresh. It’s a reminder that even when things feel stuck, change is coming. So next time it rains, don’t hide inside. Stick your face out the window, feel the cool spray, and let the rain wash away your worries. Trust me, it’s way better than being a crispy fry in a giant oven.
