“Human’s Best Friend” is the best caption for it, isn’t it?
I still remember my golden days of school writing tons of essays on “What if you are a book?” in every language possible. That symbolized existence of a superpower although now we have its latest form being Google…

Reading books for me has been more than just a hobby. Every book in my hand helps me learn & unlearn things in life. It transforms me along turning pages. I hold the anxiety of flipping pages, keep reading and wishing for it to never end. Not sure of how much vocab I have gained, but in context to the life lessons learnt, the answer would be a yes! Layers of deep thoughts unfold while reading and that down the line makes you realize and believe the power “WORDS” hold.

The story of books is again another mystery to unfold. The question also arises whether they really track or guide us or it just acts as temporary illusion. How can we justify this?

A person reading books can have bookish examples to narrate whereas a non-reader can have practical verbally passed ones. This flip of illusion is still debatable although I seem to portray myself on the first side of this never-ending seesaw.

To address more touchpoints – Has anyone had this weird fascination of smelling books? If no, I would suggest you to definitely try once. The instant but hidden smell of unnoticed happiness an old book page can give is irreplaceable. That very page with brownish tint, leaves you astonished to wonder if it’s the glory of hundreds of read or the wait spent for those fewer once. This also reminds me of the judgement every book can get. On one hand fiction can be over liked whereas a philosophical one can be ignored, from where does this categorization come? Does the book really know what it portrays? Here again is another perception on the go. An author pens down his/her vision of an end page. He/She takes you through their journey of how your journey with the book gets scripted & in turn shooted.

I so wish books had their own tales to tell !
I so wish books had their own spectrums spill !

Although this seems to be a mixed range of views, I can say, I have really loved some & some really got to my nerve, rightly justifying – “Never judge a book by its cover”

I could also share my experience with one of the most popular book – ” The Alchemist – by Paulo Coelho”– Naam to suna hi hoga 😛. It was a suggestion to read this book.

I am being honest by saying I initially could not connect with this book. Starting few pages left me with no interest & generating a feeling of giving up. Gathering the courage to continue reading till the end was some decision made. And guess what? To my surprise it’s in the list of my favorites as on today. The journey this book introduced me to, had my perception go reverse in motion. This took me to an altogether different, yet a new world where I found myself get lost in words. So that’s my tale of me & my books being on an adventurous ride. Few things scary, few funny, few different, few landings in goosebumps, few boring yet in the end, worth the remembrance.

Books have always helped me reconnect to self & at times to situations. They have helped me embrace every emotion in life right from fear to excitement, joy to pain, anxiety to peace. Indeed, so much to thank them for this insight!

So much to wonder about their roleplay !
So much to appreciate their contribution !
So much to fear their impacts !

Books altogether form a world! A world to live in, yet a world to be considered a matrix of maze to be in. This strikes me with –

(Waiting for your tales to reach out🤔)
